what a blur...

haha, surprised to see the comments from my frends for the last entry. hmm, dunno why i am here when i supposed to study for my last paper in NUS. The real LAST one (at least by right it is).

 

i spent a damn good part of the study week on sleeping, and playing viwawa, and reading the book "state of fear". it is a nice book to read, much more interesting than the notes.

 

hope that my memory will not fail me for the paper tmr, but hard to say. it's kind of lost... wat will i be doing at this time tmr? no need to study anymore, then maybe should worry abt some other things le ba...

 

hoping for the better...

i cant believe that my last entry was more than 1 yr ago.. haha, so it's time to weed..

 

hm, always wanted to type sth here, but due to my lazyness and the "difficulty" to type Chinese characters, the ideas were put on hold, and then disappeared. May be i should try to keep them alive. haha cos sometimes when you look back, it's interesting to see what you were thinking at that time.

 

ok, now should keep a record for myself. hm, basically it showed that so many years of university life or rather hall life have resulted a person who is very poor in health condition. (maybe not that poor, but definitely not as good as the secondary sch times, at least that time dun have stomachache lasted for 1 week, dun have all those flu symptoms when wake up on a cold morning...) 

 

one thing must learn is that die die must take good care of yourself. yup, haha, if you are sick or have pain in any part of your body, you are the one who will bear it, not anybody else.

 

yup, so tat's all for today i think. should come here more often. 

this morning when i was waiting for the bus, someone shouted "lily".

 

it's been a very long time since i heard this name last time. it was frank (i guess, cos couldn't remember his name le), last time colleague in the Seoul Garden restaurant.

 

now think over that time, we called each other english names, which some of us just think of anything as a name to fake the management. i dun even know his proper chinese name. but he seemed to be very happy to see me again and i am also surprised to see him in nus premises.

 

he's here for IA, i am also doing IA now. times really flies.... but dun think i will ever go back to that place to work. just leave it as memory ba...

we won and we won it BIG!!

 

i believe we are the only hall who won so many awards on a single day, i am so proud to be a Kent Ridgeian at that  moment. 3 months of hard work did us pride, all the misunderstanding, stress, pressure, quarrals seemed to be nothing compared to the feeling of victory and happiness of the moment.

 

the dream team was the best, though during the process, a lot unhappy instances happened. an invisible chairperson can bring KR proud, and part time designers can win the float award...  may be we should just dwell on our awards and enjoy. no need to think too much, just enjoy.

hard to accept the truth.

 

i rarely watch soccer for a full time match, but the two matches i watched on that day were quite a torture to me. to be a fake soccer fan or just world cup fever induced soccer fan, to lose two teams which i support was a bit hard. i dun expect england to go very far, but i didnt want to see them lose so badly. i wished brazil could win the world cup, then she lost to france again.

 

maybe it's just the fate.

the very in prompt to trip to malaysia was over, the conclusion was ----- the stuff sold in malaysia were really cheap though i bought a monkey only, haha.

 

the feeling of pennyless was really terrible. i dun have anything on me that can be used in malaysia. no RM, no local handphone, no knowledge of malay language... everytime needed to bed e wei for money, haha... see yong and me were at e wei's mercy to survive in malaysia.

 

it's all because of e wei's dental appointment, and i think he made the trip worthy. due to the carelessness, he broke the spring fixing the braces and need to go back to the dentist again. the funniest thing was that, he broke the spring just after the dentist put it into the braces when we had lunch with ivan and huiting at a buk kut teh shop... haha

 

maybe i can go malaysia once more before my visa expires, i really want to go and try the theme park at time square and genting. though we watched superman returns at time square, apart from the price of the ticket, we didnt really enjoy the movie much. maybe it's just hard to fulill pple's expectation, and it's much harder for a movie maker when he is trying sth which is so deep in pple's heart.

a sad match, but not because england was out.

 

first time to watch soccer at a hawker center, with come frenz from hall, but i hardly enjoyed the match. I wished to see england enter the semi-finals, but due to the bad luck and maybe rooney's stupid red card and beckham's injury... and many many excuses, england was kicked out at the penalty. maybe england just had a bad luck, lampard missed the first goal. but there are to be someone to take the blame. last time beckham was also bombarded badly by the media due to the missing shot. cannot say I really like england team, maybe it's only because of the handsome face of beckham, but today they really disappointed me, in terms of tactic and attitude. all the england defenders cramed into one half of the court, left with the poor crouch in the other half. I believe crouch has the skill to be the man, but he's too tall and too thin to play in the game of soccer. it was just so uncomfortable to see a pair of chop sticks chasing the ball...

 

I think the england team and rooney will be blamed a lot by the media. everybody was so looking forward to see rooney's return to the team, but wat did he return to the supporters? is he following the path of beckham? red card during important matches? I think we will be saying goodbye to errikson le... because he didn't bring england to the championship and he didnt fulfill the expectations of millions of england supporters.
